Project

An exclusive License for a block in Sudan, known as “East El Burgeig” Northern State, currently called Block#NS30, and to resume the Exploration Program on this Block until further reserves certification and starting Gold production.

Exploration program already performed and to be done on the Block:

EXPLORATION PHASE I

Stages completed :

  • A complete Geological coverage of the NS#30 Block area.
  • A stream sediment sampling program covering the whole block, to the exception of the areas covered by thick Nubian sandstone.
  • Detailed soil sampling grids.
  • Geological mapping, both on whole block and on detailed occurrences.
  • Exploration trenches on geochemical anomalies.

EXPLORATION PHASE II

Stages still to be completed :

  • Exploration drilling, including all classical phases:
    • Scout drilling: phase IIa,
    • Delineation drilling: phase IIb,
    • Estimation drilling: phase IIc and on.

All phases of exploration are considered, up to a feasibility study.

New discoveries on targets

Based on raster data, vector GIS data files were digitized: major faults, main supposed shear zones, sandstones outcrops, main dykes-pegmatite-veins, alteration zones and main igneous intrusions.

Two major shear zones have clearly got a good potential for gold mineralization of orogenic gold type, either gold-bearing quartz veins (small tonnage and high grades) or finely disseminated mineralization (large tonnage and low grade, generally geometrically encompassing the previous type). An economical gold deposit may well be found in relationship with these shear zones, as it is the case in the El Burgeig block.
